| [#11] Leica Club KSL, There is a useful site can make photo paste up linking here or even for ebay selling: "photobucket.com", and there is another thread taking about posting picture that I tried last night " How to post photo in review 33" please refer to it. Dear SWC, My 35 really fool your eyes because of the broad view, both taken by M35 summilux !! To all Leica fans if you concern whether Leica can survey, please try your every best to express you thoughts in any channel, Leica is listening. Don't thinking of they make big profit from your pocket,it is only partially truth. But the up surf of Digital photogarphy, Leica products ( still in heavy weight on the film products) would become a burden of a listed company for slow revenue return, and it may drive them to stop invest and develop the high end gears which are only supported a small group of artist like people or collectors. It may forced them to become a joint venture corporate like Sony + Zeiss, Volks + Rolls Royals & etc. See the fate of Contax then you know. I am not the staff of Leica or Schmidt. But a poor guy who loves perfect metal and glass made master pieces. Don't even dare to claim myself a photographer, I still have a long way to go.........! |

I urge you pass your job to the photoshop if you don't want to invest a film scanner those products would be updated monthly. Good documentation format in CDs. | [#19] Leica Club and.t I did scan the film myself .the first scanner is the minolta Dual scan IV then now the 5400II. I have a lot of slide from Kodachrome , which is a very difficult film to be scanned with good result. Like to share experience with other. Usually it took some 2 min. to scan and other 10 min to 20 min for the retouchin by photoshop. So I can only scan some 4 photo each night after office hour . |

| [#23] Leica Club Buddy, It is no 20mm lens that Leica ever made, either it was a M 21 Super-augulon or M 21 2.8 Elmarit !! I have owned but sole out an old dual-range 7 elements 50 sumicron too, the old taste that today lens no longer carried. |

| [#26] Leica Club I agree with and.t All people interested in this engineering piece of art should all be welcomed. I enjoyed them because of their mechanical build quality and optics of another world. But as my wife always said - I haven't mastered 1/10 of the potential of these gear...:-( I got my M3 first when I was in London once..traded my Voltlander in. My double stroke was an earlier model. The film press was made of glass as they were not certain of static electricity (the same reason for a double stroke winding mechanism). Then I start to collect my lenses. The ones I wish to add is the 35/f2 ASPH, 50/f2.8 collapsible. The super-angulon 21/f3.4 will be perfect but just way too expensive. And 90/f2 is just too heavy to carry around. I still like my 28/f2.8 than 28/f2. No reason but just personal love...:-) |
