| [#6118] Leica Club #6113, JC, my M240 is also gone but i quite like the color produced by this camera. 90/2.0 is still with me but mine is a modern version. i don't have M camera anymore and my SL camera & lenses were also gone. still have a few M & R lens collecting dust. |

| [#6119] Leica Club I am using Hasselblad more than Leica nowadays. Its natural color solution is more attractive. Though I can now say with a high degree of certainty : Leica M lenses are WAY better than Hasselblad's XCD lenses. The latter is just on par with Japanese lenses, which lacks 3D-pop, clarity, sparkle and atmosphere. Take M APO 35 as an example, it easily beats the entire Hasselblad XCD lineup to a pulp. XCD is nothing more than a Nikon, Canon or Fujifilm. |

| [#6123] Leica Club I don't think I need to start another collection of camera and lenses as I am still try to use my Leica collected over the years. I know it is not the best but what is! M is a classic and I think most Leica fans agree. However as we get older our ability to focus especially with some lenses also get more challenging. With SL system, it makes it easy to focus even with M lenses. I guess that is why the new M EV1 is out to give the old fans best of both worlds. |

| [#6124] Leica Club JC, you don't need to start a new collection of camera gears. Leica M's is very handy for urban photography and its PQ is awesome. depending on one's preference, type of photography and physical condition, he may choose a different set of gears. if i am to choose one set of camera gears only for my travel photography, i will definitely pick my Canon's. I carry it to Xinjiang in winter (lower than -30C), dusty & windy deserts in Namibia & Morocco, and snowy Lofoten & Iceland. I once tried Sony A7Rs and its battery sucks in cold weather. Battery level is either 100% indoor or 0% outdoor in my Xinjiang winter trip. M240 survived this low temp though. yes, i once bought 3 cameras (with shared lenses) to Xinjiang. Crazy me! i prefer to use EVF (internal or external) for focusing with M lenses. not many people will agree but i think it's a waste of pixels with modern hi-res sensors when focusing with rangefinder system. one you expand the photos 100%, you will see what i mean. that's why i sold my M240. 最後修改時間: 2025-11-13 12:09:06 |
