| [#5] 修理Onkyo amplifier Possibly power supply problem, not necessarily transformer, should be easy fix by C-fu. Check for blown fuse first. Intermittent fault is hard to fix, dead short is easier due to obvious symptoms. But many C-fu would not accept repair of digital equipment due to time consuming in troubleshooting and lack of circuitry/part. High repair cost even if it can be fixed. | [#9] 修理Onkyo amplifier Not difficult but top $$$. Upon inspection and offering a quotation at higher cost, say $1,200, you may not repair due to original and present value of the equipment. How to send back to China for the whole equipment? Need custom declaration or even taxation. Got a notebook with burnt MB. Local repair $2000. Enquired on Taobao sellers, needed to send the complete unit instead of MB alone. But I feared that I couldn't have the whole notebook back. Eventually I bought a similar used MB on Ebay UK at GPB 70, then DIY. Have been using for a few months. |
