| [#6] 空氣清新機請教 It's sold on taobao, but it has a very long story - a western guy started his search for ultimate principle of air purifier and years of search made him start this company, selling effective but cheap air purifier (claimed). And replacing a Hepa filter is very cheap. But big brands often sell their 'special sized' Hepa filter at great cost. Moreover many brands combine several filters in one filter (pre-filter, carbon filter and Hepa in one package) and charge you several hundred hkd (300 to 999 ...) ... but Smartair only sells replacement filter around 100 hkd. It has combine several filters in one go, but it's still relatively cheaper than big brands. I noted Searching C is helping HK people to back order. But I guess you may try if they ship to HK. Just an AC adapter will do. |

But the technology isn't so complicated ... so I kind of return to the basic models recently emerged and widely appreciated by users. This SmartAir Sqair has a very small footprint but Levoit Core 300 is even smaller. The key differences between them is SmartAir has more airflow and claims that it can clean up the air of a room of 40m2 in 20 mins. But in HK where space is premium, two Levoit (put separately in a room) could do the job. I bought two SmartAir but actually my living room is around 35m2. Why two? | [#9] 空氣清新機請教 其實空氣清新機同喇叭一樣，最重要睇吓風扇，filter ，同低音一樣，有幾多吋面積。 我住喺公路旁，好多塵，屋企有一部聲寶二部大金，全部8吋風扇，1平方呎以上filter。每日用最細settings長開，我估減咗80%塵，但e然好多塵。長開好處係library quiet，但細setting令到室氣流量唔夠。Anyway 如果有人話二三吋風扇，做到8吋効果，仲又靜又省電可以屋企冇人都可以長開安安全全，可以試吓。 |

| [#13] 空氣清新機請教 #11 I am using the same every night for over 7 months. It works ok in my bedroom. No smell at all. Cleaned only once after using for 3 months. The filters are very clean. I also use a Sharp in my bedroom. Both running at low fan mode every night. Makes my air conditioner filter easy to clean too. |

| [#15] 空氣清新機請教 #9 Absolutely agree that fan size does matter. One big adv of big fan is even at lower speed, its cleaning power would be much better than small fans at max speed. That's physics. | [#19] 空氣清新機請教 可能比人呃得多，大六既嘢通常一成都唔信。 另外可以睇吓可以銷售國家，有冇一個有安全認證。如果買來長開要自己注意安全風險。 有味表示有細菌。自己冇Dyson，不過用日本仔機可以加多層3M filter。多一層filter可以清潔容易啲，一個月換一塊，清潔都費事，同埋唔駛HEPA filter 咁大load。另外一個原因可能太潮濕。可以考慮一吓加抽濕機。 最後修改時間: 2020-07-21 16:43:29 |

| [#20] 空氣清新機請教 Kenny Hing I am almost as skeptical as you are. So I still tried this time, since I followed this guy's post since 2013, for a long time. He started as a blogger, and the now. Still, he won't have 100% credibility you could say. His products are claimed to have international safety certificate. Well, all things are claimed in China ... The only products I bought last two years, purely MIC, concept originated by Chinese co, is CZUR scanning gadget. I compared to Fujisu's very expensive ones, which hasn't been updated for years. CZUR truly did innovations, hardware and software wise, which no western or japan co. did in the past ten years. This case really puzzles me. I hope this exception ... could be more.
