The lane in the middle part of the photo was a shortcut to “嚤囉街” which I often accessed. 方寶玉 hing: ＞＞＞記唔記得"平香"茶樓(近舊上環果欄) 同"銀龍"茶樓(而家上環郵政局對面個位) 仲有荷李活道"吳源記"酒家? In my childhood days, I went to "平香"茶樓 daily (sometimes both morning tea and lunch). The dim sum is VERY VERY VERY good. "銀龍"茶樓 (or 酒家) and "吳源記"酒家 were quite good. Btw, did you ever have meals at “廣生樓” (originally located at Hollywood Road and later at Queen’s Road West). To me, “廣生樓” is thus far the best 粵式小菜館 in the World. To me, “金華酒家” and “同樂酒家” were the luxurious restaurants in Sheung Wan in those days. ＞＞＞呢幾間我0靚仔成日去,如果有相睇返就好囉! Oh! I should have seen you there before. |
