| [#48] 給Rolex 的朋友 I owned my Explorer II ref.16570 for over 10 years. I found time lagging at 4 years ago. I went to Rolex Service Centre for 抹油. After that, it went normal ! IT IS COMMON TO CARRY OUT 抹油 for such well branded watches, even though it is not the top class compared to AP. 抹油 should be done every 5 years or subject to lagging. |

| [#54] 給Rolex 的朋友 just share my experience... i have a submanier...bought in 2000...never be in repair or "oiling"...but it started to run slower and slower...averge 5 mins per week at last...so think to go to repairing...i have a relative who collect watches for more than 15 years (PP, AP, Cartier, Chopard,...etc) he recommended not to bring to RSC...as their service getting not really professional now (ie: glass got damage after repair). as all of his watches are being repair and check by the shop which is in peking road,tst. i brought my watch to their for oiling and repolish (HKD1,800). after wore for 3-4 days, the watch didnt run smooth, and even just shop running 5 mins after winding...need to bring to there again for recheck...i am really in pain now :-(( just got a bit side track... peterso hing, may i know what is the typical discount for chopard? i am really interesting with 1-2 models which are in rubber strap, and the cost is around 4x,xxx (i just saw this in the chopard shop in elements). thanks in advance. |
