Thanks Kent for his very detailed introduction. Learnt a lot indeed for CAS beginner to master better for our set up and ripping.

每個人當然可以自由地發表自己意見，亦贊同。但Kent 只有十幾分鐘的開始，已不段被人interrupt,問的同recording 冇關，佢想知道的，是已带入來想知道的CAS的音效問題，Kent 不停解答。我覺得一個專業的recording 的知識學習機會被侵佔，唯有半途退出。

I am quite suprised the side by side audition music server aurender S10 vs amarra + mac mini yesterday.

Ken ajust DAC 202 in same volume and comparing Mac mini + amarra (firewire to dac 202) vs aurender aes to dac 202 (using linear power supply, linux , ocxo oven temperature control oscillator ) with song ( meet me in london 24 / 192 download from naim audio)

aurender seems more quiet , dynamic range, smooth (like playing LP )than Mac mini

yes, aurender win at least 20% to mac mini with amarra

just my personal opinion

also ken told us square wave the lowest price seller in the world with aurender ( less 10000hkd comparing normal selling price)

The many photos show that S10 has an excellent construction.

This Korean company has 'Heart' whereas the interior of Weiss MAN301 is not much different from a DIY desktop computer!

I am curious whether there is any comparison of the MAN301 as a server against S10.
I guess S10 will win.
