用家意見	first of all, i am not a experience HiFi player but i am a long time music lover. Thus, i can be quite sensative to music (classic and Jazz).I hope my transparent knowledge could give you some idea about DV 17. Purchased this DV 17 on 2001-04-17. Initially, i am satisfied with its basic function as a DVD player. There is no useless part. Before buying, i had AB compared pioneer 838A and this DV 17 with Denon ??200III Int. Amp. Undoubtedly, DV 17 gives a great musical sound and wide 3D image. DVD 838A seems a lttle bit sharp at high pitch but too electrical, lack of natural feel. At this very beginning, i think my DV17 is still not warned up. I would give the comment later on. But i think Marantz has done a good job. Ocean
