It turns all my CDs from "sound of a small band" to the "sound of big band"! Especailly for classical music reproduction, every instrument is clear and in exactly the right position of the sound stage. Female vocals reproduction is sweet and sharp and never sound harsh. I must say , it matches very well with my A3cr. MF's comment: In our opinion the A5 CD is the best player ever made. We know that sounds like an extreme claim but the A5 is incredibly sweet, clear with astonishing image width and depth. We know that a CD player offering value for money whilst claiming to be the best ever goes against the conventional wisdom that "if it costs more it must be better" but it's a fact. Forget the price and use your ears; the A5 CD is the best ever.
