產品簡介	Extracting high-quality audio from Blu-ray players is problematic. The HDMI signal interleaves video and audio data which, upon decoding, produces an inherent jitter as high as 7nanoseconds (For comparison, a good CD player's jitter is in the picosecond range). In practical terms, it is difficult to properly decode HDMI audio without employing extensive reclocking circuits, thus pushing up the cost of a good HDMI audio pre-processor. The simplest way to improve analog audio performance is at the source. The Oppo BDP-83SE player incorporates ESS Technology's state-of-the-art Sabre DAC, widely acknowledged as one of the industry's best. The 7.1 multi-channel unit employs a single 8-channel Sabre DAC. The stereo channels' dedicated Sabre DAC is achieved by stacking four DACs per left and right channel for utmost transparency and dynamic range.

用家意見	When i was in singapore last yr, i saw a lexicon BD-10 blu-ray which was selling for HK24000!!! After i came back to HK .. i started to search the reviews about this Lexicon BP-10,.. unfortuately those reviews accusing this Lexicon Blu-ray was the whole copied design from an Oppo 83 Blu-ray player only costed US499 (HK3800)!!! Well,.... eventually i made an last order from NuForce HK for an Oppo 83SE Nuforce...i set up the Oppo with my Lexicon MC-4 processor and Lexicon CX-4 with only Oppo Analog 5.1 outputs!!! The Oppo can decode any Dolby TrueHD n DTS-HD Master Audio through HDMI or LPCM to analog outputs.. The Surround 5.1 effects are so powerful and superior!! This Oppo SE (Sepecial Edition)is an upgraded power-supplyboard and voltage regulation,8-channel 32 bits ESS Techology ES9006 for 7.1-channel analog outputs claims to be super (THIS IS TRUE)!! Also use dedicated 8-channel ESS Techology ES9016 DAC for left and right analog outputs which stacks 4 DAVs per channels when playing SACD!!!! Now i sold my lexicon MC-4 and bought a new Anthem AVM 50V... comparing the HDMI output from Anthem bitsteam decoding HD with only Oppo 5.1 internal decoded HD using LPCM analog outputs.... the result is still the best from Oppo decoding internally!!! My neighbour already made 2 complaints about me at night... i had to turn down the volume by 10 dB.... The Oppo 83SE ESS chips are so powerful in decoding HD!! The Video decoder is by ABT2010 VRS Anchor Bay with HDMI1.3 supporting Deep Color 36bit 4096...
