| [#4] CD 正相/反相 C-Hings To distinguish inverted phase recordings, the fundamental requirement is that your playback system should be capable to project a normal sound stage and the speakers properly positioned in the listening room Then you can use some test CDs to check the phase correctness of your system. There are quite a good number of CDs available, such as Sheffield Lab, Denon, Kharma etc... With the normal phase track, the human voice and the musical instruments should have a relatively sharp focused image, while everything seem to be blurred for the track which is phase inverted. I guess there should be less inverted phase CDs today. As an example, many HK made Polygram CDs at the 70's to 90's are phase inverted ( Alan Tam, Jacky Cheung, Sam Hui) . If you enjoy classical music, many DGG productions are also phase inverted. This is a bit tricky concept, it is recommended you can first have some listening experiences with some nice Chings via home visits... | [#5] CD 正相/反相 Faimiu Ching, Thank you for your kind advice. I wonder why the manufacurers do not label the proper phase on the CD. Some Ching said 老歌Sanyo verion was recorded in inverted phase.I have tried the CD in normal and inverted phase.Honestly, I cannot say which one is better- |

| [#6] CD 正相/反相 I am not quite sure if the CD manufacturer is aware of this problem, or they simply choose to ignore this issue? I could give another example, most EMI classics CD are normal phase, but when exactly the same copy is manufactured in Holland, it will be mostly phase inverted. |
