| [#7] 木馬屠城, Troy I just watched it and find the movie reasonably good. One may have to have some background knowledge of Greek mythology to better appreciate the development. The acting by Pitt and Bana are quite good and the CG, though exaggerated at times, actually helped a lot. A weakness is that after Achilles (Pitt) killed Hector (Bana) in their epic fight, the story seemed rushed. It may be that the director had some constraint on the length of the movie (already 162 min) and had to compensate for spending too much time in the beginning. Another thing is that the story does not Homer’s exactly in order to achieve, I suppose, a more satisfactory theatrical portrait of Achilles to the end. I got the Region 1 at Tak Fat for $120. The picture and sound quality are not the best but are OK. |
