| [#4] 驚劫重生, Perlasca I like this movie very much. Although it was a 3-hour movie, it seems to me that it was a 2-hour movie. Crisis came one after another. I really admire the courage of Perlasca, who was prepared to give all his property even his own life to save the life of many jews ( 5000 ?). What a hero! |

| [#1] 驚劫重生, Perlasca This is another great story like Schindler's List. Similar to Spierberg's Schindler who saved more than 11000 Jews, this guy Perlasca saved more than 5000 during the Nazi Holocaust, on his own. Quite a story and compelling to watch. There are several scenes where you can really feel what Nazi holocaust is like. I recommend this film to those who like Schindler's List and World War 2 stories. I like the packaging very much. When you open the spread cover, there is a long description on Giorgio Perlasca, how he did it and what happened later after he was be recognised in 1987 by one of the woman he saved. A wonderful film. |
