| [#3] 金牌醇音樂(CD) To: 19 Of course, I cannot listen to the original master, but I listen to many HK DSD and non-DSD since its launch, Taiwan non-DSD, as well as overseas DSD and non-DSD. It is the characteristics of machine-based and distortion-based DSD. DSD is good for recordings in medium to large space, but not good for small studio rooms when small spatial imaging, you can see how small the studio room is when you look at the photos in the album. |

| [#4] 金牌醇音樂(CD) hi AVS, you are talking about recording, right? those u mentioned are all about instrumentation,miking and sound source.As i know, DSD is highest resolution digital format so far, it may not affect the sound that much . Ranking shouldn't be biased with where it was made. btw, do you know what is mastering? |

| [#5] 金牌醇音樂(CD) It's fine and it is not the right place to discuss DSD, anyway. I am just sharing my personal experience with DSD only. BTW, the exact process for CD(DSD) production shall be: Separate Vocal+Music Recording tuned by the traditional mixers, compressors and equalizers -＞ Multi-track computer mixing using Pro-Tools -＞ Record to Digital Tape, Hard Disk or other medium -＞ Send to the Records Company -＞ Send to SONY HK for DSD (1-bit) Mastering -＞ DSD-to-PCM Conversion -＞ CD Stamping -＞ Making of CDs. Note that all kinds of mastering causes distortion because computing mixing (Pro-Tools) is usually using 24-bit format, CD is using 16-bit, while DSD is 1-bit processing. |
