| [#1] Alan Tam - The Best Sound Ever Reborn This is an all region BD25 disc. There are 4 audio channels: 1. PCM 5.1 16bit 2. DTS HD 5.1 24bit 3. DD 5.1 16bit 4. DD 2.0 Karaoke 16bit This disc is a remake of Alan's classic album in 1984 that scooped many Chinese music awards. The rerecording includes a full quartet orchestra. The are 10 songs in the disc including a few all time Alan Tam canto-pop classics from his J-Pop days. I had high expectation for this disc but unfortunately the outcome is only average. Overall, I found the orchestra seems to be overpowering Alan's vocal a little in the blu-ray (a sign of Alan Tam's old age) and the mixing seems a teeth a little between the vocal and the music. Overall, a 6 out of 10. |
