| [#1] Eva Cassidy - Lives At Blues Alley Introduced by an Audiophile megazine two months ago, just bought it last week, good songs selection, A+++ recording quality, the recording catches almost all the live atmosphere in a Jazz Bar, pin-point focus of vocal and instrument, Ms Eva Cassidy's performance so good that makes me play this CD 3 times daily for a week, recommend track 3,4,510&12. Song List:- 1) Cheek to cheek 2) Stormy monday 3) Bridge over troubled water 4) Fine & mellow 5) People get ready 6) Blue skies 7) Tall trees in Georgia 8) Fields of gold 9) Autumn leaves 10) Honeysuckle rose 11) Take me to the river 12) What a wonderful world 13) Oh,Had I a golden thread  |

| [#5] Eva Cassidy - Lives At Blues Alley I firstly found her CD in HMV (TST) a year ago, by that time there was no media in HK talk about her..... anyway, I pick up the disc and have a trial lisiten, I smile when I listen to this disc - like an idot in HMV :p This CD is lovely, my favourit are: Cheek to cheek Autumn leaves Fields of gold What a wonderful world I can't give comment on the recording coz I don't have a good equipment "yet", but the atmospher is really good and lively. I didn't buy her other disc coz the style are not what I expected but certainly this live recording is fantastic! KK - happy listening~ :) |

| [#6] Eva Cassidy - Lives At Blues Alley I think she could have become a greater star than Whitney Houston in Black soul music, if not she passed away at such a young age. After listening to this CD, I bought all the rest of her collections at HMV the next day. You don't have to receive proper training in singing in order to become a good singer. Her story is interesting but sad. Obviously, Emi Fujita's Field of Gold is an inferior immitation of Eva's whose version is much more impressive and musical than Sting's. |

Frankly speaking, I don't enjoy this kind of music. Maybe I am not suitable for Blues. I don't want to score it because I know nothing for this kind of music. I only want to share the link and the CD cover to you. You can listen to some songs in the net before you buy. However, I can't leave without rating.
