Whether you like the way a singer sings, it's all rather personal and subjective, be respectful to others. In terms of 童麗 singing skills, and her voice, she is MILES ahead of MOST Chinese CDs we can buy in the market, be objective! In terms of recording, except the high volume which I also hate, most of her CDs plus some other brands recorded in PRC, is very good indeed! We bound to have recording and mixing engineers doing some tricks to the CDs to make it sound good (artifically) but all in all, some of these PRC CDs are good indeed compare to MANY MANY locally made CDs. The above is my personal view based on ＞20 years of high quality CD & LP pursuit, and my main diet of listening is LPs. For me with all due respect, most of the time CD is for convenient listening only... happy listening & pursuit .. |
