| [#1] 英雄 (日本普通版 / DTS), Hero (Regular / Japanese DTS Version) Bought this disc today $295.- Don't have time, only watch the fisrt 1/2 hour of it. Great disc! Highly recommended. Sound: (DTS; AC3 not yet tested) Sound is more balanced than the Reg-3 version. The fighting scene of Lee and Yan Chi Dan is amazing. I remember the metal sound (Sword and Spear) in Reg-3 disc was in fact too strong. But Jap vesion is much better. The metal sound and the backgound "chinese pinao" are at similar level. The strong bass is still there. The metal sound is very 清澈. During the fight, there was a shot showing rain fall coming down on the stone chess table, I can clearly hear that the water is falling much more on the upper left hand corner of the table which fits the picture. Very accurate. 2nd scene, the 秦箭攻趙寫字屋, when Lee is blocking arrows on the roof, you can clearly hear the arrows being swept from one side to the other. And the arrows shooting... wah... you must hear it yourself. Picture: Clear as usual Japanese disc. Much finer than Reg-3. When Leung is writing the word "Sword" you can see his hair very smoothly and 清晰. Since I have only seen the first 1/2 hour, I can only see the Red and black color presentation. The 深淺色 of red is perfectly shown (曼玉 clothing). The background 彫塑 on the wall of 秦皇 palace can be seen clearly. Story: Although many people (i.e. girls, hehe) dislike this movie. I love it very much and found it entertaining. My Personal Recommendation: A must BUY for sound and picture testing of your equipment. |

| [#12] 英雄 (日本普通版 / DTS), Hero (Regular / Japanese DTS Version) 昨曰買了日版，雖然聲畫都有一定水準，但如掛上日版(牌頭)的話，我會較為失望，先講畫，雖然實淨、夠鮮艷，但在暗位處理未見理想(較暗黑)及人物大突寫時(面部表情)不夠細緻及有少鹿菕A而聲雖然夠厚但人聲較窄，由其當秦王和無名在殿內對話的語氣及力度則完全欠奉(很平坦)，令我看此的投入感大打折扣，因為我對此片的期望很高，所以要找一個最完美的版本收藏，以上只屬個人意見，敬請見諒，如其他朋友有其他版本請在此發報。多謝 |

| [#15] 英雄 (日本普通版 / DTS), Hero (Regular / Japanese DTS Version) rainnyday兄:法版是沒有中文字幕可選，我只用國語音、無字幕、DTS去欣賞，因為我己看了很多次，所以不需看字幕，如你要看字幕的話，我見議你看透內容後放了你隻3區，再入法版，因(法版)畫面質素真的很靚吧！例如在大殿內的暗位處理及如月與飛雪對戰一幕，在我看時，講了一句，嘩！好有驚喜，貴得有理。還有的是聲，屬暖、闊、人聲對白很清楚，質感好，而劍聲的刺耳銳利感亦屬適中不會過火，因有些版本真的過晒火位，例如人聲對白細聲，但一到打鬥時都很大聲及很刺耳。我看的是紅色Boxset韓版，還有的是連德版我己看過，聲畫都是排最尾，最差是聲要講德國語才有DTS、講國語是DD5.1。 |
