| [#3] 最後武士, Tom Cruise Last Samurai The film took a very strong resemblance of the fate of Saigo Takamori (西鄉隆盛). There was, of cause, something romanticised, like charging a modernised army in the open field with only medival equipment, which was of cause inaccurate. They did have some western firearms though not in the same quantity of Yamagata Aritomo's (山縣友朋)army! The film was in general quite entertaining. Worth watching |

| [#8] 最後武士, Tom Cruise Last Samurai This movie is like "Dances with Wolves" but set in Japan. Unfortunately, it is not as good, it just tries to hard to present the so call "Samarai" spirit. Sorry didn't do for me. Watch it if you nothing better to do. |
