| [#1] 蔡琴 CD Suggestion Hi All, I already have 金片子第一集 (SACD) & found it is really good CD for both songs & receording. So for now, I will consider to buy one more 蔡琴 CD. Please give suggestion that should I buy 金片子第二集之魂縈舊夢 or 民歌蔡琴?? Please also advise the CD version such as XRCD2 or SACD?? Thanks. One more quetion: Must XRCD2 be made in Japan only?? |

| [#4] 蔡琴 CD Suggestion I bought both 民歌蔡琴 and 機遇 last week (XRCD2 version). 機遇 is not my cup is tea. 民歌蔡琴 on the other hand is a must buy. The song 恰似你的溫柔 is so touching. My comment is that it's even better than the 無間道 song 被遺忘的時光. I also would like to hear comment on 金片子第二集. |

I feel that the recording of 金片子 1/2 are the best ... very natural and dynamic. Of course I mean a bit better, not too far. The songs of 民歌, 機遇, 金片子 are all very good. If you are her fan, you should get all of them ... |

| [#11] 蔡琴 CD Suggestion I am delighted to learn that the xrcd of Ms Choi are of excellent quality. In my system, these 2 xrcds revealed as best as some other best sacd I had. So the format of xrcd/sacd does not matter, what matters is the quality of recording and process of production. I have some experience that I bought few sacds and end up selling them in few days time. yes, most of txrcds are made in Japan. It is usually printed at the back of the cover ... you can see it. cheers. |

| [#13] 蔡琴 CD Suggestion freesongbird, -my 民歌xrcd is not marked "made in japan" at the back cover ... still I feel it is a very good cd. -i'm not too much bothered by these labels ... of course I presume the EMI 百代 does not issue different versions. - I understand that for 金片子1 & 2 xrcd, they might have 2 different versions (differs by the packing : one version is having noraml transparent cd-holder; another version is having paper type slot-in holder). I know this because my friend bought the paper type slot-in holder version and show me ...). We did not compare the sounding ... Anyway, you are very cautious as you have asked many questions before deciding to buy which & what ...? Have you made up yr mind ... For cd, I used Wadia 25 for cd before and now using Marantz 14v2, also using Mark amp ...plus many US branded gears / cables. |

| [#19] 蔡琴 CD Suggestion Hi Ptopto, Thanks for your recommendation. oh... xrcd is really better than SACD for voice performance that her voice is definitely true & realistic. Moreover, you may listen more details which SACD cannot. However, all things are outstanding, in other words, it may be little noisy. On the other hand, for SACD, the background is relatively silent & all things are soft, so you have to adjust the volume little higher. Actually, both versions also have thier own characteristics/advantage. Regarding to the songs between vol.1 & 2, both are very good. You cannot miss one of another. Personally, I like vol.2 more. |

| [#20] 蔡琴 CD Suggestion 金片子SACD及XRCD版我都有，我較為喜歡SACD版，SACD版分晰細緻、人聲溫暖、中高音甜潤，我覺得XRCD版混音時電平偏高，太數碼化，聽落好似係好聲D，但其實只不過將這張碟的原有錄音訊號處理後，放大及加:而以，反而破壞了享受此碟的真正樂趣，聽琴姐唱歌除了錄音好之外，最重要是能細味出人聲中所帶出的味道：醇、厚、清、甜，我本人推薦SACD版。 其他推介：民歌蔡琴(最早期台灣版)、機遇(綠色版)，這兩張CD我只有這兩個版，我沒聽過或比較過其他版本，不置意見。 |
