Valen Hsu is not the kind of eye catching girl at first glance but she has a different kind of charisma. Her voice is gentle and tender, full of emotion and subtulety. Her love songs are of stark difference comparing with Coco Lee (more passionate). Relatively speaking Coco Lee's skill is better but don't really like her American contemporary style love songs which reminds me of Maria Carry, Whitney Houston or Celine Dion. The 13 best songs is also good but seems like it is too hifi sound! Looking forward to hear from her again.  |

| [#3] Valen Hsu Best 13 Love Song Collection One of my favourite 芸 了 issued in 2002 1.如果我离 2.1是 3.祝福了 4.幸福一秒吧 5.我擗@同犍h 6.如果下*路口遇薛A 7.永琲槌眼 8.此鬺烳的代价 9.神秘5 10.我的搹漅L天 11.不一7了 12.如果我离 (Jazz版) Featuring祝福了written by Sky Wu伍思, the first few lyrics is acapella. Very touching and gentle with piano solo by Li Quan. Unexpected that林夕could write good mandarin lyrics such as 此鬺烳的代价. There are also some fast tempo songs such as 我擗@同犍hjointly written by Valen and her friend Mavis Fen. 永琲槌眼is in fact my favourite. The songs are actually quite different, if you expect those kind of 'Sea of tears' style, might be disappointed. After all she has become more mature.  |
