| [#1] how's the new Priscilla CD- Evolve Anyone have already tried it? The song list is very attractive, a lot of good old songs, and 24 bit processed in Germany. But I hesitate, because it may have SACD version later again, wondering if I should invest on the 24bit version. Don’t want to buy two versions of CD. And how is the quality of the DVD, is it good? If any Ching has bought it welcome to share. The last CD is really good actually, which I really love it. By the way, how do you guys comment about normal CD VS SACD? I am not talking about those re-processing/up-sampling of old CDs to SACD bit rate; what I am talking about is those new CDs that have both K2CD/XRCD and SACD format, for these new processed/released CDs is the SACD sounds much better? For example, is it more musical? is it too harsh to listen? Is there any obvious change in sound stage in terms of width and depth? Is it more spacious and airy? Welcome any sharing. And what device do you guys use to play SACD? Is there any tricks to tune or make the SACD playing better? I heard some people said when playing such high frequency music, the power supply quality and grounding quality will be more important. Not sure if it is really true. Apart from Priscilla Chan’s new CD, any similar new Cantonese or English CD that you will recommend? Thanks! |
