Oakland's government just spend a lot of money to replace all the traffic signals, resurface all the roads, etc. It will soon be dirty and smelly again as long as Chinese people continue to spit in public, put their personal garbage by the side of the public garbage cans, etc. Sad but true. |

The Chinese people who can afford to move outside of Chinatown will do it as soon as they can, which is why there're Chinese business districts in the Richmond and the Sunset. |

| [#359] 美國西部旅遊實錄之再續前緣 There're no more 戲院 in SF Chnatown. I remember there used to be lines waiting for Jackie Chan and Sam Hui movies back in the 80s. Nowadays, you will have a hard time seeing a CD store that sells that real thing. |
