Thanks again for the nice pics.

The Chinese name of Yosemite used by the travel agents in SF China Town is 優山美地! I love the name very much as it captures the essence and spirit of the magical place.

I read that Yomsemite valley is the most visited National Park in US. I was there twice. The first time was a one-day trip while the other time was a 3-night stay in a lodge there. I was able to see some wild-life (Raccoon, Deers, and even a Coyote) in addition to those landmarks (Half Dome, El Capitan, the waterfalls etc,.).

My friend was once camping in the Yosemite Valley when he went face to face with a Black Bear! (Just several feet away). Fortunately, the bear turned around and left.

He also did a 7-day trek/trip in upper Yosemite and it was a wonderful journey according to him!

black bears are very dangerous although that bear no.37 looks naughty and likable in the Yosemite official video:

and the dolls of no.37 are selling at the souvenir shop too ^^

we spent some 3 weeks last time in west coast but surely not long enough. i like Yosemite and Grand Canyon most. yes, the spirit, the wonderful nature that amazed me!

The black bears in general are not as dangerous as the brown (grizzy) bears. However, to protect both the human and the bears, it's a pratice to move any bears which are caught "distrubing/stealing" human food to a remote area. If the same bears is caught twice, it will be put to sleep :(

In the lodging area, people are asked to place their food in the bear-proofed containers. And it's also strongly recommended not to put on any prefume coz it will attract bears!

Talking about Grizzly, I did see a wild one on a beach while travelling in Alaska! (I was on a boat and a fair distance from him but it was still something that I will never forget!)

咁就係美國租車好得多,因為加拿大租車貴,由溫哥華租車去Alberta都要加錢.收車個陣用個反射鏡伸入車底睇有無傷痕.羅湖過關反偷渡都咁上下.伸支入油槍睇入仲入唔入到油.若果入到照扣錢.

通常買左旅遊保險都有$3500左右租車excess,所以同本地人咁上下價錢

講起D熊就記起在National park 遊客中心D片段.
若果D人有意俾食物隻熊食係會害死.當熊一食過另類食物就會終生記住.當聞到食過既食物就發狂咁要.必要時有關人員係會射殺.
