| [#309] Lenco Club de HONG KONG I’m using a speed controller with my Garrard 401, and it sounds more calm than without. The speed controller supplies specific mains frequency to control motor speed, so that the magnetic brake in the turntable to fine-tune speed can be bypassed altogether. Think that makes a difference. Also you can adjust the voltage on the speed controller to minimise excessive motor torque. |
