I wonder if you have ever received flowers sent to your company from girls, admirers?

When people grow old, they don't care about the past though it's quite embarrassing. The so-called past would haunt you to look back. Sometimes there are some memories that should be remembered to remind them of one own sense of existence, still capable.

It's time to tell my story again.

Checking on Suzanne Vega new album "Flying With Angles" and I found "Lucinda" in the track lists.

I have no doubts in my mind that this song must be referring to the legendary Lucinda Williams, the singer/song writer.

She has been praised by her peers throughout her career so I won't be surprised to know that it would be Vega term.

I had made two videos about Lucinda for YouTube.

The first one was made 15 years ago. It was Vic Chestnutt's song with the title "Lucinda Williams". Vic was a songwriter/singer with disabilities. He was praised by Michael Stipe of R.E.M. fame. Michel helped produced his recording. Me and my wife met once in an Virgin record store in London. He was singing in the shop and signing some albums( I still have them). Sadly he had passed away due to his illness.

The second video is Lucinda herself singing her third acclaimed self-titled album.

Tonight I was transferring some music from records for my son.

It is like a music sharing session with him. He knew Portishead but not having much of their stuff, so I told him I do have some !

Ricki Lee Jones may be just a little weird, too jazzy and too soft for him but you never know?

Long ago I recommended to him a 60's British Psychedelic band called Pink Fairies to him and he loved it!!

This is Twink and his solo album called "Think Pink" because he was associated with Pink Fairies one way or another.

I love Pink Floyd and The Wall is one of my favourite.

It was basically a story of Roger Waters.

However, in recent years Waters has changed so radical and behaves like a lunatic that I don't want to listen to him or new music any more.

That said, I do like his effort in 1990 creating The Wall-Live in Berlin.

The concert was meaningful because it was after The Fall of Berlin Wall in 1989.

We all knew what happened in 8964 and the dream of democracy in China was shattered.

However, it transpired to the other side of the world. The breaking of the Soviet Union made Germany unified and no more communism and East Germany or West Germany, but just Germany, a democratic country.

This is the ending song "The Tide Is Turning" and is not included in the original The Wall by Pink Floyd.

I love this song because it has Joni Mitchel, The Band and Cyndi Lauper and the others.
