| [#4886] 單端胆機同好會 正確數字是 211 1250V plate 出19.7W 5%失真 845 1250V plate 出30W 5%失真 並非845出30W 8% distortion 亦並非211出30W 少於3%distortion 211機係比較容易做因為佢只需要p to p 120V已經推到A2 845機差唔多係所有直熱胆最難推動,p to p 要480V 推至deep A2, 好多人話自己做211好過845, 可能佢地冇將個driver 做好同做夠輸出电压 而845呢隻真奇胆之潛質係相當高,你要845出到幾靚声,好睇以下3個factors 1. driver circuit capability(eg. capable of 500V p to p with 1K output impedance, less than 1%THD at 500V p to p) 2. Plate V and power supply quality (1250V plate, capable to provide instant 150mA per tube for A2 operation) 3. | [#4891] 單端胆機同好會 Some Americans experimenting pusing the output tubes way beyond their maximum voltage and dissipation power. They do work beautifully in short period of time. Most of the Audio Manufacturers doing the same having the power tubes working at its very limit so that they can promote their amp has more output power than others. My question would be:- 1. Does more power produce better sound? 2. How long the power tubes they would last? I remember a guy said he needs to replace the power tubes in his amp once a year!!! |

| [#4893] 單端胆機同好會 If high power SE is the goal, it is better off to use the parallel power tubes configuation which would be much more easier and economical to do. The parallel 211 or 845 with lower B+ would be great. The power tubes would last many years. The frequency range of the OPT would be a lot wider as the inductance required is less. A buddy of mine recently made few 2A3 PSE with 8 watts output. He said they sound excellent. Much much better than mine. Yeah. I am a practical guy with limited money to spend. Johnny |

| [#4895] 單端胆機同好會 #4892 1930年代有多間歐美廠做211胆,GE, Amperex, Mconni, United Electronics, RCA, 每間都有spec variation,211A, 211B, 211C, 211D...., 到後期RCA因太多version 而制定standard typical 211 為75W dissipation, 3600 RP, Mu 12(你可以上網睇到RCA 211specified 75W dissipation 並唔係佢最早期29年之初版211之100W 屏耗 而General Electric 當時為咗贏政府parts 儲備招標,將佢嘅211改良為VT4C有更高屏耗加至100W, 而坊間在之後定211為75W 屏耗, 所以你見到現在仲有大量GE VT4C 全新賣,其特性是比典型211優良 但不論211係典型75W定VT4C 100W, 用作音响上都唔預你1500V plate 返返嚟發燒友角度: 其實70年代845胆已經開始炒起,到今日一对有原裝盒之845 NOS係炒到5至7萬港元,但211係平好多 你自己上網找 sonic difference 845 VS 211就知各有各好 唔好相信個世界仲有好多NOS 845 211, 果D間中出現嘅冇盒211, 845係好多年老嘅發燒友釘咗之後有人拎出嚟賣 最後修改時間: 2025-02-11 22:51:43 |

| [#4897] 單端胆機同好會 niceday009 Thank your information. johnnykmtang Thank your support. 我不是針對845胆,20多年前, 我也做過一部845, 只有23Watt output (33~18000Hz) at 3%THD. 845 PD 工作于100 Watt DC. 我的目的是,同樣是在100 watt DC 之下, 845的线性好還是211线性好。 在2個 data sheet 211的线性是比845好。但為何没有一部211能做得好過845? 1) 可能211 data sheet 做假, 2)211的胆,生產出來達不到 data sheet 要求。 中國曙光生產的 211 carbon anode 是211C。 我真的想試一下,曙光211C,能否在100Watt DC 供電之下,1500V 66mA, 在小于3%失真下是否有 30watt RMS 輸出。 ![]() |
