Where the weight come from , those screws and nut Let's trust them why 7hz resonate is less preferred than 8 Hz resonate... So it makes sense to use screw without excess length and lighter one if u have... I can see 7hz is without too much of an issue too So the mounting weight cartridge with the screws etc..nuts..etc..keep them less than 15 grams... If 8hz resonate is indeed better ,then find some super light weight things..haha Seem u ok upto 15 grams mounting range, as upto 15grams the resonate is still at 7hz only your tonearm mass at 12 gram and 2m black at 7.2, and compliance at 22um The fun parts come..let's say with all the screws and nuts and the cartridge at 10 gram, and u have 5 grams window to play around for fun...haha https://www.vinylengine.com/cartridge_resonance_evaluator.php?eff_mass=12&submit=Submit  最後修改時間: 2025-09-14 19:03:09 |

| [#5847] 英倫再上路 Haha, Thanks for the information. I did check with Vinyl Engine beforehand. So the 2M Black has a Compliance, dynamic, lateral, of 22 µm/mN. The weight is 7.2g. I was using the Nagaoka AL-703 aluminium headshell. The total weight is 19.2g which falls slightly down from the SAEC recommendation of accepting range. The SAEC 407/23 is designed to be used with a cartridge and headshell combination weighing between approximately 20g and 33.5g. However, it's way over the accepted resonance evaluator which poses a serious concern. The original SAEC Lightweight is 6g and adding the 2M Black it becomes 13.2g. I have 7Hz. The Hitachi is plastic and even lighter with 5g and with the Black I have 12.2g. I also have 7Hz. There are two more headshells I could play with. Like you said there will be fun and joy!! Some argue it would change the LP12 signature sound a little bit. I am not sure about it. With the Rega Arm and LP12 springs upgarade I would say it is a reasonable turntable you could get. Incidentally my RD11s also has the LP12 springs upgrade. |
