[#42] Teddy Power Supplies 同好會 I have 100% confidance that the Teddy PSU is perfectly workable with your M2tech Young DAC though I only had experience of using his psu on my pre Cambridge DacMagic Plus.If you are not totally satisfied with his product, you can have your money back. All you suffer will only be the shipping fee only. You have 2 weeks free trial period.

[#43] Teddy Power Supplies 同好會 dave ching, you can email Teddy directly, he will reply you in 1-3 days. His super reg is able to supply any voltage (i remember 3V-24V), you just need to tell him. 15V 1.2A sure ok.

[#45] Teddy Power Supplies 同好會 ncwah ching, From your message, it seems that you are ex-user of dacmagic+. May I know what DAC you have changed to? Since you have invested quite a lot on the dacmagic+ (buying teddy PSU for it is not cheap), I wonder why you give up so soon? Thx!

[#46] Teddy Power Supplies 同好會 DacMagic Plus together with Teddy tailor made PSU provides very good sound qaulity already. But you know the upgrade bugs always bite, so I trade them out and bought the TeddyDac instead which IMHO is in a total different league. I think you'll see what I mean. As Teddy said in his email once " you are a loyal customer"...

[#47] Teddy Power Supplies 同好會 TeddyDac? Oh! I never think about that. Have you try before buy?

[#48] Teddy Power Supplies 同好會 As you know Teddy has no sole agent in HK, so it's not possible to audition beofore buying his product. I bought the TeddyDac based on my previous experience in using his PSU before: Teddycap3, Dual teddycap, Super teddycap, TeddyXPS and DacMagic+ PSU. All surprisingly good soundqualitywise. And I've read loads of prasie in pinkfish media forum regarding the TeddyDac, so I bought it via his 2 weeks trial period and it stays of course. Currently it teams up with squeezebox touch & TTouch PSU,IMHO,it beats Naim CD5X plus hicap2 which I used before. 最後修改時間: 2012-12-05 17:03:29

[#49] Teddy Power Supplies 同好會 ncwah ching, May I know for this DAC, up to what sample rate can the USB accept? Does it need driver to connect in Windows and Linux? Thx!

[#50] Teddy Power Supplies 同好會 beeos Hing, AFAIK, the TeddyDAC can support up to 48kHZ via USB, no need to install any driver in windows. I only connect through coaxial and optical inputs into it, so not in a postion to tell the performance of the USB input. Here is the link: http://www.teddypardo.com/Products/DACs/TeddyDAC.html

[#51] Teddy Power Supplies 同好會 Thanks ncwah ching, That's pity. He has answered the same question about USB in here: http://www.audioasylum.com/cgi/vt.mpl?f=digital&m=155931 He suggest adding a DDC to connect from USB source to SPDIF.

[#52] Teddy Power Supplies 同好會 Nice review and I think I've read it before. Anyway, thanks so much. It seems to me what Teddy mentioned was that if you want to play high resolution files up to 192, then it's better to add hiface, etc... Since I have no hi res files so coax output would be just as good. BTW, sbt is a very good streamer for playing digital music, sound stunningly good with such a low price. Enjoy music!

[#53] Teddy Power Supplies 同好會 ncwah ching, I also user of SBT, I added sotm DDC and it sound a bit better, even though I play 44.1 files 99% of time.

[#54] Teddy Power Supplies 同好會 beeos Hing, So glad to see another sbt user here. Have you tried the same 44.1 file using usb and other digital outputs? Any difference in comparison?

[#58] Teddy Power Supplies 同好會 Beeos Hing. Would like to know your hand made PSU is for sbt or DacMagic? How do you think the result? Pls share! I am using a ttouch psu now, with darker background and better result all-round compared with the sucked switching adaptor.

[#59] Teddy Power Supplies 同好會 ncwah hing, this one has 4 outputs: 1. 5V connects to a fiber optics to Ethernet 7 port hub 2. 5V connects to SBT 3. 9V connects to SoTM DDC 4. 12V connects to Dacmagic+ Sound quality, if just based on my feeling, I can tell u there's improvement, darker, wider and deeper, objects better defined, in other words, overall picture is more clear. I am going to do an AB test: 1. with stock PSU for dacmagic+ only 2. with my another DIY PSU, for SBT+sotm These days I am still boiling the new PSU because Capacitors needs to boil, especially this is a low voltage application (21V DC) but I use 63V Jensen Cap. Will update you later. btw, don't plug in the stock SBT PSU to power socket. A poor (cheap) switching PSU doesn't block(filter) the high freq noise generated and so it will go into both side of the line (the AC power source and the DC output). That means it will pollute your other devices in the line not just the SBT. 最後修改時間: 2012-12-13 09:44:32

[#60] Teddy Power Supplies 同好會 Thanks beeos hing. Are there 4 Teddy's super regulators that you have installed inside your diy psu? Teddy said he makes 30% profit of the original cost of his products only. Would you mind telling us how much you spent on making your diy? Thank you!
