香港嘅山與水，真係好靚，當年行過不少。。。最印象難忘一次行港島徑大潭再上一段，整過樹林都係彩蝶，一行過舖天蓋地咁全部喺身邊頭頂漫天飛舞，奪目壯觀！！

Yes, the countrysides of HK indeed could be magical and a wonder to experience.

Throughout my youth I had been a member of the Boy Scouts, Adventure Scout, Outward Bound, Edinburgh Awards and Civil Aid Services.

Hiking, camping, kayaking, diving and shooting fish were those activities I had enjoyed so much.

Climbing Lantau Peak (鳳凰山; Fung Wong Shan) and waiting for the sunrise and 塔門 was one of the "must" visit places because of the rock formation.

I believe I might have shed some "feet hair" in some places in the video.

啱啱睇完呢段 Pletnev 隻 DG Chopin 鋼琴獨奏錄音製碟紀錄短片，原來黑膠全 analog 錄音係用兩支咪放 Pletnev 身後高位直錄，跟用11支咪圍住座琴作數碼錄音製作，完全係兩套唔同錄制器材同技術製作方式，難怪咁多人話佢隻黑膠同 hi-res 數碼檔音色有所分別。。。

Haha,

I never use B&W Mode with any of my cameras. I just shoot RAW, Auto White Balance and mostly Av Mode and occasionally M mode in exposure.

I deal with all the results in Adobe LR. I have more control with editing with colours to achieve my required result.

After my initial b&w session

I feel it make sense for me to learn those software , as b&w give me a feeling of making a drawing from a wish ... Very different than birding ...and marco, it is a drawing...

Fun you remind me to try the effect and impact of different white balance setting ..

That photo is super amazing...,impressed by the composition...and the vision and choices....

尋日趁住新一年，過農曆年前，請咗清潔公司黎屋企進行咗一次徹徹底底嘅大掃除！！

剩係個 oven hob 同抽油煙機，整整搞足7小時！！！個 oven 玻璃終於睇得番通
入面啦！！！哈哈～～ ;D

跟住黎緊就自己著手清潔吓套 mid-fi...! Time to refresh for a whole new year!!

嘩專業清潔

有冇一啲嘢可以學得到呢？

年青時候做廚房（係一間鬼佬大型嘅disco，佢哋叫nightClub，對環境清潔好高要求，每一晚收工，都要同廚房爐頭，大型嘅抽油煙機做清潔

好開心的時光，因為大部分工作嘅唔同國籍人士都是年青人

用好多蘇打.....多年的訓練這些深層清潔我好快手哈哈

Indeed Fan Ho was a great Chinese Photographer of his generation. What I admire his works are what he said:

"A real good picture is in your eyes, within your mind and in your heart".

Not only did he advocate real time photography but also the essence of true definition of photography "drawing with light".

So a picture doesn't stop once the shutter is pressed but also continuing in the processing in the darkroom, or digital post editing in modern times.

There is no question that he spent a good deal of time in taking a picture with is camera but also much more had been done in the darkroom.

You can see from his pictures he had created "extras", by dodging, darkening and adding, in his pictures to tell a story or the moment in his heart as he described.

Would I do it? Of course!

Here is a sample with the original colour shot and a B&W after editing with a "Fan Ho Copycat style".
