"Live in Paris" is truly Diana Krall's excellent and her only live album all these years. Really worths to have one and enjoy!!

之前大家喺度都提及過 Eva Cassidy，一位令人婉惜嘅 talented singer，Songbird 係令佢重新受人注目嘅歌集，而真正令發燒友追捧嘅，應該係 "Live in Blue Alley" 呢張 album，一位曾被忽視遺忘嘅歌手，一場永遠動聽嘅現場演唱。

The two albums I mentioned in the list one is completely unknown to me, Shelby Lynne.

She won the newcomer award in Emmy Award after 13 years in the business!!! That got me wondering so I decided to find out.

So it all started with someone's comment that Lynne was being compared to Dusty Springfield. At the time she took it as an ultimate compliment.

Then Barry Manilow got in touch with her suggesting that she should make an album with Dusty's songs. So here comes this album.

I can't help myself but drawing the comparison with Jennifer Warnes's "The Blue Raincoat" which is also dedicating the whole album to her friend and mentor Leonard Cohen. That recording was a hugh success and also a must testing record for many Audiophiles around the world.

Since Lynne is unknown to me so thanks to the mighty YouTube I download her tracks and remaster them with the intention to try out my new "Kondo" AD1852 DAC(Ha...Ha...).

I must say not too keen on the usual Dusty's favourite soul music but surprisingly I am quite impressed with her bluegrass type ballads.

She also included her own writing "Pretend" because she felt that Dusty would have recorded it had she heard it at the time.
