Music lover is quite different than hifi lover

I spent more than 10 years to locate a pair of Spendor BC3. I also spent that much time to locate the original Spendor BC3 Trolley stands. Still no luck though.

When I had my Spendor BC1 I used my own DIY open frame stands. Most new Spendor Classic 100(new version of BC3) also recommends the Something Solid open frame stands.

Recently I finally found a pair of these Something Solid. I have to say they are not cheap even for sencondhand. New is £1800!! I paid £200 but still....VERY EXPENSIVE!!!!!

Is it worth it? Well let play some music, Dune 2 again!!!

I couldn't find the original pressing from The Grandmaster but I found the Abbey Road Studio Remastered from CD Warehouse when I had my holiday back in HK.

However, I suspected they were selling a return item or a very bad pressing vinyl. There are so many craking noise and surface noise. I can't believe it is a brand new record.

Nonetheless it's with me in the UK so be it.

Now repositioning the BC3 slightly apart with the new Something Solid and do you think it has improved?

Thanks to Netflix I can watch Studio Ghibli every now and then.
