Boring first 20 minutes and still goalless so quickly went to record "Fake Plastic Trees".

BTW, what different sound signature did you find? Would you mind sharing a little more in details?

I would also play back Garbage from Sweet Relief II as from the beginning of the track you could hear the leaking current sound.

I think it's time to check over the Quad 606 with some of the caps inside.

Now comparing the 606 and 555 I would say there is a difference that the Adcom could handle the headroom so much better.

In the past I always struggle in recording Interstellar but it's so much better now.

Yes, I think you rare right that the Adcom needs some running in time.

I bought the Adcom from a Guitar and HiFi Workshop. They used it for testing their instruments but not been used for a while.

I checked inside and it looked like original in and out. The transformer is massive!! I put a 20p coin on top.

Video 1 for acoustic guitar(Ovation)

Video 2 for vocals with Justin Hayward and Richard Burton

Video 3 for attack drums and cymbals
