| [#1031] EQ Hello JTA Lately I have been thinking of getting an equalizer. Eyeing at the Schitt Lokius. Do you eq every track that you listen to? Or do you have a certain preset values for different genres? What I am trying to achieve most is to eq for low listening volume at night to compensate (or attempt to) for the Fletcher-Munson curve. | [#1033] "EQ" Fans Club ^@^ #1031 Hi Michael Wittmann, Schitt Lokius has received some excellent reviews! One feature that I find particularly interesting is its non-constant-Q passive filtering. I usually spend a few minutes adjusting the EQ for music that I really like. When I listen to a compilation albums (photo enclosed) , each selected track has a different musical style, loudness, recording venue, and preferences of the recording and mixing engineers. As a result, I often need to adjust the EQ for every track. I've noticed that different equalization settings yield optimal results at varying playback levels, and I find that more adjustments are necessary when the music is played at a higher volume. | [#1035] EQ #1032 Hi fotheringay Douk audio are known for their high price performance ratio products. I am considering Schiit is because of how well their products in general flair against other more 'high end' brands, and often received raved reviews. The Douk T8 pro does look to be an interesting option. |

I was also debating inserting an eq means another active component in the signal chain, which I always try to avoid if I could. Cheers |
