Not horns yet , but very close to ! And I bet my setup beat a lot of CD players at the same price range |

Even though I see the upgrades should also be applicable to your system, whether it's worth the effort is based on each's own likings. All pain starts from A/B comparison, and the "ability" (or sometimes illness) to discern difference. No point to bother to spend more time and $$, better use the time to enjoy more music! Peter |

I also played by the CAS game for few years, eg. modified the Mac mini, LPS, separate USB power, different player software, different USB cables... At the end bought a streamer and spend the time listening to music rather than fiddling the system. |

But I guess one should spend enough time on their current setup before moving on to the next stage ! CAS is still a new territory to me! But once you like the clarity of hd format, it is hard to return ! Honestly speaking cd still sound warmer than cas than my setup! |
