Actually big bird has explained it in detail already.
First of all, you must turn off the amp. And push the woofer cone by finger GENIALLY on the area 3:00, 6:00 9:00 and 12:00. Normally you should not feel anything. The sound kee kee (磁環摩擦聲音)will be generated obviously if coil deformed .

"初初只是間唔中聽到ee,bb, 吱吱...D雜音(在皇帝位), 若半小時聽歌, 只覺幾分鐘有, 但將耳放近單元, 很明顯, 若用手輕按單元, 雜音多到爆, 更聽到coil & 磁環摩擦聲音:((((("

I don't know the actual damping factor of the my Densen gear. i just know that are a true non-feedback construction with high current.
Do you mean the higher damping factor the higher risk to damage Harbeth? Hmm....it is hard to agree so.

yes agreed with CNN, just sit down and enjoy the music. upgarde is a headache, enjoying music is fun.

just bought the lastest CD of Roy Hargrove "Earfood", guys, if you konw who he is, then i recommend you to buy one. if you don't konw him, perhaps you should also try. certainly better than spending money on trying different wire.
