Yours is dead when vac on, may be it's the character of the turntable. Sometimes Hifi has no rule, do the things you feel good and pleasant. |

It may due to the disparity design of the pump, the best of my memory the Lux design as one single stroke for the vacuum suction and the Micro have the constant suction underneath the disk. |

The platter of your Micro 1500FVG is much much heavier than our Luxman PD3XX series, the high mass and heavy platter contribute to the stable and authoritive sounding, and to some extend, it may sound dull and liveless if the tonearm and cartridge sharing the same characteristic........ |

As long as the lifter won't do harm in music reproduction, just leave it alone would be fine, or you may ask the HK distributor to fix it for you.
