| [#73] 2004 香港高級視聽展 bigfinger & 精神亦亦 今日和 Chord 的代理信和音響國際有限公司了解當日發生「燒焦味」的問題, 代理回覆問題出於連接推動後置揚聲器的 Chord SPM-1200E 擴音機的「拖板」電源線接觸不良引致, 和 Chord 的品質或能力推動 Focal.JMlab GRANDE UTOPIA Be 並無關係, 而且 Chord 的擴音機配備極敏感的保護系統, 若擴音機真的力有不隸, 保護系統會立即啟動, 這點我在試 Chord Mezzo 140 擴音機時也有提及; http://www.hkheavs.com/hkheavs_content.php?s=reports/20040501&c=index&m=58040719030539 當查明原因後, 代理立刻把有問題的「拖板」更換, 而往後的試聽時段也再沒有發生相同問題。 |

| [#70] 2004 香港高級視聽展 The complimentary SACD is REALLY good quality, even on cd playback. No other local hifi show complimentary cds have ever reached this standard, in terms of music selection and sound quality. Well done. Listen to Reiner/Scheherazade track it completely blows away my cd. The only track I don't really like is Kidd/When I dream. Haven't listened to this piece for a long time, but I still prefer the original cd "all my tomorrow" version (of course lp even better). I arrived almost 2'0 clock. It was in fact bit of a rush to try to cover everything. Didn't have chance to listen to gryphon and Mcintosh set ups which others priased. I general I quite like: 1. Clearaudio/herron/tenor audio/audiophysics - sound as you expected, some people like it and some don't. Anyway it is a good sounding room. 2. MBLs - quite astounded by its dynamic, rhythm, string sweetness, top end airiness when Hungarian Rhasophy was played; same track was heard through Quad system made it sounded like pissing in the wind. Burmester - Very clean, and to a point boring. I never like Burmester sound anyway so I could be biased. Maggies with Musical fidelity was quite disappointing. Never like the MFs (except the ealriest A1 and A100 toaster which is not half bad) and the Maggies could do a lot better. VDH/Meridien/Sonus faber was another disappointment, I mean for poor Dr VDH who was sitting quietly at the corner being ignored. The sound was not a bit like Lp. I was listening to a chinese male singer lp, couldn't stand it for two minutes. Wish I had more time to listen for other music. Worst arena was where Radar, linn, B&W plus others put other separated by some partition boards. It was completely noisy. |

| [#67] 2004 香港高級視聽展 Grande Utopia + Chord 時聽近隻鳳凰于飛CD, 對chord更本就唔 力,唔燒機要還神!總的來說,要四＋元可消磨一個下午,也是不錯! 最不幸是小弟用了一百大元買了隻CDR制的正價CD,氣到飯都吃不下!此碟就是NAT KING COLE PERFIDIA THE SPANISH ALBUM, 質數還差過老番,老番都真正用CD錄制呀!此CD竟是CDR.一元一隻的CDR!碟底亦無刻上IFPI及碥.想問司否去海╡賱D. |

| [#63] 2004 香港高級視聽展 今次個show D 級數跟去年差不多. 但係個D多邁誑. For those who love drum, you should go to listen to the Mcintosh 1201....you can see the reading of the meter of the amps reaches 1200W when the song was playing! Its much better than the Gryphon room, perphaps its the difference between the performance of their speakers systems. For Excel cinema, they used a '單槍' to project a 200 inches screen. Its was good. But last year, they used '三槍' (don't know the brand) and said that the reason for using '三槍' is that they are always better than '單槍'....... When I arrived at MBL, 肥佬話宎蔽漪O那CD的original copy,將會用來印制一張未出版的CD,你信吾信? Projector area is a good idea, lots of projectors to see and you could compare their projected image at the same time! Regarding the SACD, the package is good and the songs are nice. 好過送本膽機聖經 !!!! |
