| [#5] 小型全音域喇叭 3"-4" No. I have these. I have never believed that a 4" so called full ranger can produce the sufficient band width to meet today's audiophiles' expectation. In fact, in my opinion, none of the so called full range speakers, including various types of Lowther. Fostex, Diatone, Jordan, vintage Telefunke/Siemens I have heard can even get close to such expectation. The fact is nowadays, 99% of the speakers are of multi units. There is only one reason why people would give up the obvious advantages of full ranger and opt for multi units, it has more disadvantages than advantages.  |

| [#18] 小型全音域喇叭 3"-4" spacer I found they sounded too harsh and did not give them too much chance/time to perform. Yesterday I went to the 五金鋪 and bought a pound of 威士 and stuck them into the boxes. The sound improved a bit. It has some bass. But of course can not expect too much from such a small speaker and tiny box. I now found them particularly strong in playing Lily Chen. I listened to them for 2 hours until midnight yesterday and was not eager to change the speakers! The original design of this box (Solo 103) should work with a filter net work to raise the low and hi frequency. http://home.hetnet.nl/~geenius/Solo103.html I have not installed it yet. I think that will help. louisla For the 4" unit, please refer to the link I provided above. For the 3" unit, I think you can ask that guy to custom make it for you if you have the design details. |
