| [#14] Rogue Audio 同好會 I used the 66 pre-amp and M-120 mono blocks (Upgraded to the Magnum version) 3 years ago. I recommend you to use Telefunken AX-7 matching with Mullard AU-7. Tubes are GE 6550. Itried the Monkey head tubes but huge difference. Generally the sound is superb. It is really value for money and close to the performance of my Matisse and JA-200. However there are disadvantages and that's why I sold them. First, the pre-amp tubes pick up noise even if you use the remote control to change volume. A lot of feedback noise. Secondly I have my output Tx changed twice within 3 years. They are not longlasting and I don't understand the reason apart from workmanship because it is hard to burn the output Tx. By the way, it was driving my Wat Puppy 6. The damping on the bass is not good enough but the mid an the treble are sweet and smooth. |
