[#1] 擴音機溫度問題小弟剛購入全新DENON PMA-710AE於工作間用.用了數天發現即使長時間使用(3-4小時)機身溫度也很低(跟開機前差不多). 但客廳另一部老舊AUDIOLAB 8000B只用1小時機身也很熱(新機時也一樣)但與朋友胆機比較便不算高溫而部機工作也沒有不正常. 請教師兄為何2部也是石機為何工作溫度差這麼遠. 謝謝!!		ABC1234 正式會員 210.xxx.xxx.133	2012-06-30 00:57

你先查清楚你部長Amp，是咩類型，例如 class A,AB,T-amp.?如果ClassA，就會熱到暖爐，其他就不會太熱。

if your amp is older than 5 year (typ. 5 hour per day), you should recap.

Otherwise, your transformer is running hard (hot) to drive the circuit. Also, sound doesn't good, no power and other components dying soon.

I have no idea why no one like recap their good great a bit old amp in Hong Kong. CRAZY!!!

recap is good general rule for really old tube amps, but it may not necessary apply to SS amps, it mostly depends on what type of caps were used. i have SS receiver from 73 is still working like the day i got it, while the tube pre-amp need new caps less than 10 years, may be should be stated as "regularly check & replace caps."

i cannot believe a 39 years old receiver does not need recap.

in general 85 degree caps especially old caps life span is about 8 to 10 years.

if one has not done the recap and claimed no change from original is suspicious.

不能一慨而論, 皆因不同擴音機線路設計與工作方式皆不同, 最後發熱量 (廢熱能) 便不一樣了.

In another post here in R33, I remember that "cpu joker" suggested to people to use a ceiling fan for amplifier cooling, he even copy and paste a photo of a ceiling fan as well. But don't you think he is a bit way off in his suggestion? That was when I was suggesting some kind of DC driven 8 inch (20cm) diameter fan which can be relatively slow turning, it is to place on top of the amplifier for immediate cooling by helping to evacuate the heat from above the amplifier while at the same time keeping the fan noise down.

Honestly, based on what the 'U' had posted in the past, we cannot expect too much from this guy.

孟波 hing, can you remember the 'U' had difficulties in understanding ohms law and have no idea what is reactance and impedance are. Now he is telling us about bad design amplifier without even inspected the circuit diagram of the concerned amplifier.
