| [#1] Is it a wise move on such upgrade (replacement) ? Currently own a Denon ADV-500SD. The main unit(DVD player) is has broken down for quite some time. Wanted to replace with an AV amplifier but to keep the 5 speakers. Targeted a Marantz NR-1602 2nd hand in this forum. Is it a good move for that? Will there be any compatibility problem? Knowing that almost every AV amplifier can't re-use my non-powered subwoofer. Is it ok for me to use a bass guitar amplifier to replace that position? Hope for ur advise. Rgds Johnny |
