Take out the chip, cut the ground connection of pin16.

Pin1 do not connect to the board, connect to a 1uf cap.
pin16 connect to pin15

But why not replace by most update chip AK4497 instead of AK4493?

4493 is newer and better than 4490. 4497 is different pin layout so cannot upgrade directly using the same board.

Actually, not the new one is better than the past products and design, see many top model gears were fixed with AK4497. Try to check the prices of these chips for re-comparison again

當然4497好啦，但部機原來是4490改唔到4497.4493可以用4490firmware,我只是要改pin1,pin16. 4493高低伸延比較好但大致聲低同4490差不多。
