| [#6] Benchmark DAC1 Fans Club HELLO linkink17兄 你意思係我指部合併60i嗎? 如果講錯，唔好打頭，嘻嘻 音色幾夠暖，機仔細細力水亦都唔錯，但我嫌未夠細節(但咁o既價錢已無咩可以再要求) 我最初淨係一部60i~之後再加兩部125m mono block~ 低頻控制力高返好多，細節好左，音場亦得己改善~ 同貴機當然係未有得比~但一兩萬內機的話~我相信都算係好好果幾部架喇 最重要係鍾意mclaren夠靚仔~audiolab就唔係我杯茶~嘻嘻 |

| [#11] Benchmark DAC1 Fans Club Some DVD natively process audio in 48kHz sampling rate. This is to save cost as DVD audio part is 48kHz sampling. May be look into Marantz universal player and it may take care of audio better part better. |

| [#12] Benchmark DAC1 Fans Club Basically DVD transport is no better than CD transport because the crystal oscillator inside the dvd player is not working as multiples of 44.1khz cd sampling frequecy, because DVD need to be flavor in video perfromance, so the master clock frequency of dvd player would be multiple of 48khz , not 44.1 khz. If you are playing PCM 48khz DVD disks information, no problems on sound quality. It should be better use cd player as transport for DAC1, like the yamaha 1500, the master clock frequency is really 11.286Mhz = 44.1khz times 256 there are some exceptional dvd player like the earlier version pioneer DVD AX-10. there are serveral crystal oscillators inside, you can choose the 11.286Mhz osicallator when you want to send your cd digital information to DAC1 for decoding. but it costs more than 5k even thoug used one. |

| [#16] Benchmark DAC1 Fans Club Sound of USB version is similar to the non-USB version. So if you don't want USB, go for the non-USB version. iPOD cannot be USB host, so it cannot drive USB device such as Benchmark DAC1 USB. You need a computer, PC, Mac, Mac mini etc. |

| [#19] Benchmark DAC1 Fans Club Listened to the Benchmark DAC1 USB driven by a PC through the Opticis USB extension cable to isolate PC noise. I think it is just brilliant! I think it sounds even better than CDR-HD1500+DAC1 with more open sound. We can save $10-20K buying expensive transport. I like the way they help customers get the best sound out of DAC1. |
