| [#1] Pioneer LX73 / McIntosh C2300- Connection Problem Hi CHing, I had a problem in connecting my new Pioneer LX73 with McIntosh C2300 Pre-Amp in which the LX73 pre-out signal for the front right / left channels failed to activate my front speakers (seems that the pre-out signal has not sent to the speakers). From the Pioneer user manual, there is no description about it except saying that "To hear sound only from the pre-outs, swith the speaker system to OFF, or simply disconnect any speakers that are connected directly to the receiver" - Does it make sense ?? Is there any special setting that I need to configure in the Setup Menu ?? In old day, I use Onkyo AVAmp to connect my McIntosh C2300 & PowerAmp and the "pass-thruough" function of C2300 works well. For instance, I had connect the Pioneer LX73 and C2300 via the 12V Trigger jack. My C2300 can be power on automatically when I turn on the Pioneer LX73 however there is no sound from the front speakers. All other channels which connect directly with speaker cable had produce normal sound. If any CHing had a similar experience / knowledge to share then it will be highly appreciated. Many Thanks |
