| [#1] Harbeth M30 I see a lot of discussions and pictures about Compat 7ES. Could we have some discussions about M30 and posting of pictures for sharing. I am still thinking between the C7ES, SHL5 and the M30. My bias so far is towards the M30 for its smaller size and after first auditioning between the M30 and C7ES3. Thanks in advance. |

| [#2] Harbeth M30 Hi, I went thru the same process as you 6 months ago. End up I bought M30 due to its all rounded character. As you may be aware, M30 was designed as a monitor speakers for professional studio, hence it reflects the original flavour of whatever music without adding any MSG. Versus C7ES & SHL5 were designed for home audio, hence they were more easy listening and I found that they produce sweeter music especially for vocal. However, since I listen to a lot of jazz music (especially saxohphone) ad I prefer the sound produced by M30 much more. So, bottom line there is no standard answer which speaker is better but it needs to match with your music preference. Anyhow, any HARBETH speaker won't let you down. Especially considering that the Chinese New YEar is just around the corner. One thing I can do is to try if you dont mind to get approval from my wife to try your lovely speakers at my lace. And I would invite you to my humble abode so you can experience how the M30 would sound on a lesser system. Will call later to update you... |

| [#12] Harbeth M30 Hareth已推出了新款的30.1取代已有15年歷史的M30,個人覺得現在還不趁市場尚有新貨,將來恐怕要玩二手貨了(個人不太喜歡買二手嘢)，所以,上個月去了旺角買了一對。個人有感有新的設計M30.1未必一定勝舊款M30，最重要是自己喜歡聽就是了,加上M30長賣十多年有一定的實力,所以，趁M30尚有存貨供應快快入貨。 現在我的M30已了一個月,人聲聽落不覺暗,可能沒有機會與Super 5同場比試吧!現在人聲表現有感情及有密度之餘,分析很好聽多很多背景音樂,而高音則剛剛好,對我來說已經足夠。而腳架回用3/5a的Foundation Designer 2,節省了不少成本!^^ 現在用12W的火數後級完全推得掂Harbeth m30,個人認為無需要用過百火數的後級服恃她。 此外,自己比較喜歡黑檀木飾的外皮多過玫塊木,其次是喜歡簡單的Cherry,可惜現在因貨尾關係只餘玫塊木,所以,只好買玫塊木了.除此以外,我買M30並不是因我特別鍾情Alan Shaw的設計，只是每次買喇叭我希望找到人聲啱自己，音樂感又要好的,個人偏好英國聲的喇叭,亦以買made in England為目標。以前玩過Super5,她真的很好聲，個人非常喜歡，尤其她的空氣感和感染力,播出來鋼琴無得彈!但可惜地方太細，聽了rcwy的意見後,有感Super5不適合在這裡玩玩。其次人聲因我聽慣3/5a的活潑,Super5亦感有所不及!所以,最後決定出售Super5準備稍後再找M30。此外,Harbeth C-7 ES-3也曾玩過,但聲音不合意,很少聽,玩厭了亦賣掉。 記得以前dlld buddy曾經把他的Cherry M30借給我試聲，結果很合意。不過，當時因M30售價已與Super5同一水位,亦感Super 5是Harbeth「省靚招牌之作」於是買了Super 5，而放棄了M30,想擁有M30是一種情意結。面對M30停產的事實,今次一定要買一對。還有，我覺得以自己器材的實力，一定可以玩好她。 如今M30的表現令我滿意,尤其在人聲方面,攪到像Ls 3/5a咁正。或者M30兄下次上來時,又會像上次般聽SHL-5時那樣說：「仲乜玩到對M30,變成似3/5a咁樣架!」^^  最後修改時間: 2012-07-07 11:56:46 |
