| [#5] nordost-odin 的神話 Siltech already beat Nordost by a few streets. Nordost is but a silver-plated cable. I particularly don't like the roll off in high. The appearing high is due to some edges in some frequency range rather than very good extensions! |

I am using Siltech both Ruby double crown and Odin right now, and don't quite agree with your description. I found the Odin very, very refined and has pure tone. The Siltech Ruby double crown, on the other hand, is a touch lighter and the high while more glorious and elegant, is a little calling too much attention to itself (just a little). |

| [#7] nordost-odin 的神話 Siltech in general has better resolution and speed than Nordost. I am not saying Nordost is very poor. What I am saying is the price performance of this brand is NOT very high. Its prices are high taking into account that they only use silver-plated copper cables, and the purity of the copper is not that high either. Its sonic signature is fast, hifi with good soundstage but a tad thin (except the top models) and somewhat shy in bass. Siltech, on the other hand, is more neutral. The older models were warmer and sweeter but the latest models is skyrocket fast, of hi fidelity and give you all the details, be good or bad, of your systems. It will easily transmit all the demerits of your gears..CDP, pre and power amps. A dry system will sound dry, an edgy one will sound edgy and a light system will sound light... |

| [#12] nordost-odin 的神話 Royal Signature may be of similar level as the top Nordost Odin. Nordost's soundstage may be better than Siltech, as it is traditionally famous for a hifi soundstage notwithstanding how truthful it is. Siltech however may give more full-fledged performance including a deeper bass. Nordost's cable is still copper plated silver and still roll off in the extreme high end. Try to use a good cartridge and not to use CD for AB testing cables. |
