| [#1] KEF R300 vs EPOS M12i (Bookshelf) I tried new KEF R book shelf vs my EPOS M12i. I think KEF R high frequency is too sharp and EPOS still deliver good bass and optimal high frequncy. | [#10] KEF R vs EPOS M12.I(Bookshelf) I owned a set of Epos M12i's and found the midrange seductive...however...the upper mids (which is where most of us experience brightness) was so bright and unrelenting that I couldn't stand more than a few minutes with them. I have been using my new Epos M12i's for a couple of months now and i really do enjoy them, but there is an issue I have been having with the precence of the tweeter, I find it to be a bit shrill in the treble, almost as if I can hear a seperation in the mid an upper end. I have read on another forum to reverse the polarity to the tweeter to fix this issue, when I tried that it seems to blur the image of the treble to much, I have also tried increasing the VTF from my turntable just to bring it down a bit,which does seems to work a little. its a shame that I wasn't able to audition these speakers before I bought them due to my location. my wife and I both suffer from listening fatige after a short period of time, I expected much better performance from a $1200 pair of speakers, oh well i guess live and learn 最後修改時間: 2013-07-11 17:03:09 |
