I have used Luxman L505s driving my TANNOY D-700 in my mainland resort for 10 years already, the Luxman sound is naturally balanced though a bit tube-trait warmth and dynamic bass. The new Luxman sound is no longer the same animal as its ancestor, it gives you more extended treble, more dynamic yet forceful bass, higher transparency, more details but you got to carefully match with appropriate interconnect and speaker cables. Remember Luxman590A is a class A amp, yet JRDG Capri + 102 is run in Class D mode. Class A tends to be more detailed and smooth, yet class D delivers faster dynamic and tighter bass.
