Well, let just say I had the 1974 KEF B110 SP1003 白肚臍 and 1975 T27 SP1032 units to play with the Falcon Acoustic 9L "Big Box" cabinets.

They have been stored over the years but after visiting various LS3/5a forums got me interested in building my own one. Among those discussions someone mentioned that Falcon Acoustics once suggested a larger box(23cm instead of 16cm deep) in order to provide more bass extension.

By chance I came across a pair of home built Falcon Acoustic 9L spec cabinets.


I ordered a apir of Falcon CROSSOVER 15 OHM KEF B110 SP1003 T27 SP1032, CROSSOVER 23aB, aB HF SECTION.

I understand that I will not get the same performance of licensed BBC LS3/5a but hoping get the best from this combination.


A friend of mine bought with his KEF Biwaireable LS3/5a along to comapre. At the end of the listening session he prefers mine, the hybrid Falcon, as a whole. His only reservation is the lesser performance of classical music from the Falcon.
